Confines is a visible village in the public eye on the public highway, inviting in and nourishing all types of curiosities. It's a zone, a porous space with no outside or in, an architecture of women and men designed like oversize clothing, habitats to receive another.
These new neighbours, with their utopias, their rites, their gestures, their desires of living beings, their objectives and the sense of their actions construct a common architecture, a 'commonplace' unavoidably brought into question by the everyday.
Confines is the installation of an ephemeral disparate site in a public space which lays itself open to passers by and spectators over a period of days.
