Narcissus Reflects
A show for still water

Beings atomised in the joy of their selves, echoes of influences, clones of transparency, clowns of appearences, actor-imago, man-logo, icons of flesh, silhouettes screens, here lie all manner of strange poetic and contemporary beasts, living funny or fascinating reflections :
There are those who beat the laundry, watching washerwomen, one who sinks as he reaches to the sky, one who shatters his own image with a sledgehammer, one who retraces his life through unceasing doors, he whose brain burns and through all of them floats Echo, abandoned in love, like a tree, like a bed, like a flower.

It's at night, upright on the water, that the eight mobile and floating actors of our show set about to rouse the ghosts of this blinding social narcissism.
Here the water is the stage-worlds wings and all we seek is sent back to us by this rippling lying mirror where above all bodies dominate the space. Narcissus reflects us.

Later on , only a scattering of freshly opened bulbs floating on the once more and smooth and impenetrable water, bear witness to this strange mirror game which has just drawn the public in.

Walking or riding on streets and areas, colored people are looking for a paradise like their own image.
Taking gawpers and spectators along the waterside, each of our monochromatic people accost on well-matched islets, spreading series of life episodes

Landscape theater

Thee Land Act is a public artistic action in wide-open spaces.

The spectators, on foot or by car, follow utopias, installations, landscapes worked on by actors and dancers.

We're ready to study all possibilities of newly invented journeys with you and your landscape

The Menus Plaisirs
Like a card game

Very close-up theater, the Menus Plaisirs is a fragmented show set along a pathway for spectator-guests.

Each character is unnameable, at the same time body and set, authors and bringers of a proposed play or act to be shared or even eaten, with the spectators.

CoNFINES
Creation for 2004

CoNFINES is a visible village in the public eye on the public highway, inviting a nourishing of all types of curiosities. It's a zone, a porous space with no outside or inside, an architecture of women and men designed like over coats, habitats to receive one another.
Confines is the installa-tion of an ephemeral disparate site in a public space wich lays itself open to passersby and spectators over a period of several days.
Maybe a village obove the city, maybe a utopia...

The Coloured People
Bodies at large in the city

Re-dressed in a bright and shining second skin the coloured people move around the city magnifying Man's image.

Finally they take up residence on a territory of sand whose colour calls to them. And it's in the immobilising exuberance of foam that they lose themselves.

The Caged Foam
Repeated fragments of a universe

Brew up five actors in music and 1000 litres of polyurethane foam in five individual cages. Drain for two hours!

Finally the actors, fossilised in touching poses drawn from daily life, are sawed from their bonds and carried away like mannequins.
